That's the sad thing is that people voted for him only because of his color. If they actually took a look at his background and history they would have thought different.

Dawn, I will very, very happily take that as a bet! :) I'll throw in $10,000 to say that the flag stays. Are you in? I am that certain that he loves America and wants the best for the country he's been put in charge of. America voted him into office and he won't turn his back on either the people who voted for him nor the people who voted for his opponent, because he is not the president of just a part of the country, but of the whole thing.
I am hoping you will say yes! :)

I want to congratulate President Obama, and I hope that he his the right choice for this nation.
Also with that said I hope he pays back the people in the states such as Colorado where his rallies shut down their business for a entire day, and cost their local economy lots of money.
I imagine their to be new shirts printed that say "Change I hope I can believe in"
With all that said I will reelect him if he does a good job, truth be told I never expected McCain to do great just to not do so bad till 2012.
I'am ready in 2012 to once again vote Huckabee and the fair tax act if things never get better.
McCain had a very honorable and graceful bow out including pledging to do all he can to help President Obama, and quieting the booing crowd.
President Obama had a very graceful acceptance speech including praising Senator McCain for his many years of service to this country.
In truth both speeches very much touched me, being that I'am a student of history I greatly appreciate the significance of this moment.
I'am happy to see that the Democrats did not get a fillibuster proof majority so things aren't so bad.
I hope that President Obama will lead from the center moderate.
GOD BLESS PRESIDENT ELECT OBAMA, AND GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, NOW LETS ALL WORK TOGETHER AND GET THIS COUNTRY BACK ON TRACK!

I would suggest that all you Obama haters get over it. He won and won big; you can't reverse the call, can't review the play, whatever. This country made the right choice, and while it will never happen overnight, Obama will eventually undo the damage that has been done over the last eight years. GO OBAMA!! Yes he could and yes he did.
