At a news conference in Chicago, Obama said he feels his primary victories in an array of states have proven he can draw support from all races and regions, and that he is not overly reliant on black support.
"We keep on thinking we've dispelled this," he said. "And it keeps on getting raised once again."
He said critics suggest "maybe he hasn't proven that he can win white blue-collar workers."
"And we won that in Virginia, and we won it in Wisconsin," he said.
In each new primary, he said, "we seem to have to prove this stuff all over." Given his wins, he said, "at this point, we should have put to rest this notion that somehow I am a candidate that's just focused on one demographic."..." yahoo.com
You know, I really, honestly do appreciate the Obama stories (and I really like the guy, after all), but some of these articles are really similar. I don't mind different articles about the same topic or person. It's just when it seems to be the same general story that I glaze over a little bit. Same with Britney stories, you know?
I hope you don't find my comment offensive. I generally do like most of the articles you post and find them very informative.

I just noticed that you also posted a bunch of other, interesting rags too! I guess I've just been noticing the Obama ones because I am interested in him. I know, I'm totally contradicting myself.

Amen! I see the media trying to make it about race to scare away White support for Obama lately, they make me sick!
