The reviews are pretty good. Variety calls it an "invigorating musical trip," Fox News says "it's composed of riveting performances" and the LA Times' long feature calls it "high energy." The Hollywood Reporter is less enamored and say that it's "simply another in a long line of Rolling Stones concert films." Regis Philbin said on "Live with Regis and Kelly" today now much he loved it, and then mimicked Mick Jagger's walk.

What rightfully deserves criticism here is the focus of a legendary filmmaker (Scorcese) on subject matter that has been re-tooled over and over so many times that it has become a caricature of itself. Yes, I love the Rolling Stones and agree they were a powerful social force 30 years ago. But since then, these multi-millionaires have sold out to giant corporations and essentially abandoned the very rebellion they were once so very famous for espousing.
