Im sick of people ragging on Clay Aiken about his sexual orientation. He sings fabulously. He donates most of his money to kids and built up his foundation just like he promised to do. Dont we have more important things to worry about? Besides I know lots of effeminate men that arent gay ... it's just how they are. In case you dont know what effeminate means...: effeminate: (of a man or boy) having traits, tastes, habits, etc., traditionally considered feminine, as softness or delicacy. DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE GAY! Get over it!

It amuses me that we only care about someone's sexuality if they won't address it. No one cares that Melissa Ethridge is lesbian because she came out and said it. No one cares that Rob Halford is gay because he said he is. Clay Aiken won't 'play fair', though, so people keep going on about his sexuality. Pathetic, really.

I will say this for the last time... won't play fair? It's his private life ! He doesnt have to play fair... Private means private. He doesnt have to say anything. Being a celebrity doesnt mean he has to disclose what his favorite color is...what his favorite food is... or what his sexuality preferences are... So Shut The Door on this One!

Who cares if he is gay or not. Everyone has the right to love who they want regardless their celeb status.

I think though that Daniel wasn't saying that Clay isn't "playing fair" -- he was pointing out that how asinine the general public is, that it's the general public that perceives this personal thing as "not playing fair". My take it that you & Daniel are on the same page. Me too. :)
