Over the time Ive been alive. Music has been blamed for everything, Manson for Columbine school shooting. Nirvana for some suicides. Though EMO culture, is totally retarded. They have a point scale for hurting yourself. The music is damn depressing. Sounds like crap also. Before having to become a professional, in school I was labeled a goth. We never cut ourselves, the music didn't encourage anything but sex. Music Like TYPE O NEGATIVE, promoted a sexual feel to their music. From the kids Ive had to talk to, They tell my fellow officers that the music and culture makes them want to hurt themselves. Its not made up statements. Emos blame EMO music...Think about it

I have cut myself since I was 9. SIed since I was 7. It's a coping mechanism. Not "emo". I listen to a variety of music including but not limited to Johnny Cash and Cher. Did they cause me to cut myself? Did their music hand me a blade and say "do it!!"?.... No. I did it because I couldn't handle my life, same reason people kill themselves.
