My hearts & prayers are with all of the firefighters and rescue workers that are working hard right now battling the fires...
"alot of people dont think to highly of vol. firefighters" why? they put their lives on the line to help protect life and property for no pay. my heart goes out to this mans family
he is a brave person and my heart goes out to him and his family.

My prayers go out to the family of this firefighter. And to the firefighters, and families of those still on these terrible fires. My boyfriend and many other people i know are still there. They are very brave with what they do, I hope they get home safe.
I have a great respect for any fire fighter, volly or paid its all the same. I work with the FD in my city as EMS and fire are based out of the same hall.
Even though I didn't know this fire fighter personally I still feel like I have lost a brother.
