This is the fact I've been trying to get across to people McCain is not Bush he is barely a Republican, but Palin however is the most conservative Republican in recent memory, she has solidified the base.
No matter what happens during this election she is the next one running for President.
If McCain fails he will finish as a senator, Biden too, Obama will go back to being a senator and perhaps never enter the spot light again.
