well if ya ask me Since McCain didn't go and ended up going on Katie Couric instead (which Letterman ripped apart thoroughly and beautifully) he should've sent Palin instead.

Letterman could have been the bigger man on this one and just let it go. Personally an interview with Katie was a smarter move than letterman but McCain should have addressed it differently. At least McCain's priorities are in order, unlike Obama's.

McCain's response was that he didn't feel like comedy was in order when we are on the verge of financial collapse. Which is, of course, a very valid point.
