Ant and Grasshopper 2008 version
The moral of the 2 stories should be read and understood by all
This one is a little different.
Two different versions!
Two different morals!
OLD VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long,
building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and
dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well-fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out
in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long,
building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and
Dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press
conference and demands to know why the ant should be
allowed to be warm and well-fed while others are cold
and starving.

CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures
of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant
in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth,
this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper,
and everybody cries when they sing,
'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant's
house where the news stations film the group singing,
'We shall overcome.'
Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for
the grasshopper's sake.

Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with
Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the
grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on
the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, President Obama approves the EEOC draft from
the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act, retroactive
to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number
of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retro-
active taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.

Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper
in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried
Before a panel of federal judges that Bill Clinton appointed,
when he was in office, from a list of single-parent welfare
Recipients.

The ant loses the case.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up
the last bits of the ant's food while the government
house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old
house, crumbles around him because he doesn't
maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident
and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang
of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2008

The take is Bush tried to warn 6 years ago, Democrats siad shut up, he cowered down and did, then now they accept no blame, and the people they scammed the system too, and George Soros own the Democrats, and now hs the whole 700 billion, and will devalue the dollar for what ever currency he chooses.

That sucks.....yet is good at the same time. Our monopoly money system is a fraud anyways. Gold and silver are the way to go!!!! Shame the value keeps going up so only those with enough monopoly money can buy it!!!!

Hey Rev I watched that whole Fox thing I can tell you its a lil slanted also, I do think Fox was once heavy right wing, now I think it's just slighty trust me I have been watching CNN and Fox for hours every day for years, I think my overall view is as balanced as the media will allow.

I do think Fox is more fair the current instances I will sight is O'reilly's recent interview with Obama, he is sorta fawned over him, a lil. asked fairly soft questions, not overly soft but more than anything Hannity would have asked him.

Also I will cite the Belt Way Boys, who seem fair, they even gave credit to Barney Frank for being a bailout hero, then their is the overall view at Fox that McCain may have mismanaged his campaign and gave away the election, only person who seems to disagree with that is Hannity.

I keep in mind how much Hannity hated that McCain was the nominee at the start and how he said Conservatism is dead, and the callers called him up and were angry with him.

Here is my true view of McCain he is not conservative, he is pandering to the GOP right now, and Palin his is ticket to that support.

I still believe McCain is the best choice in this election, he is not conservative he will run things differently he really does have plans across the aisle, I have admired and hated his views for along time, he really has went against his party many times.

As a admirer of Reagan he also criticized him, he has sponsored bills with Democrats that the GOP hated.

He supported Clinton in taking on big tobacco, he himself a smoker half his life.

He has admitted all of his scandalous activities, and has been cleared not to mention repaid it all.

When will Obama admit his work as a community organizer with ACORN, is part of our current problem of giving houses to just anyone whether they can afford it or had the credit, the fact is banks were scared to turn down minorities because regulators were watching them, this is a social engineering practice the Liberals started.

Why is it everyone is jumping on McCain for

Regulation caused half this mess, they said you give them homes or your racist and your not fair, and we the government will come after you.

You can't use government influence or government funding to prop up a group of people, because things will not be in balance, let things stay the way they are, you throw everything out of balance, the world is what it is it's not fair.

You know 20 mins from me there are some nice 250k homes mostly owned my minorities, I know people that have lived there years, but recently they been leaving more foreclosures they could never pay for these homes, they have good jobs, but they never knew it just wasn't possible to pay they were outsmarted basically.

My friend makes around 50k and he recently had to move into a apartment with his family, he thought he could pay for that house but he was wrong, I feel sorry for all these people, they didn't help them they hurt them, it's like giving someone food and taking it away. It's all sad everyone is is at fault Cater,Clinton,Bush congress, Bush shoulda said it louder and the Congress should have listened and the GOP should have fought harder for deregulation, and groups like ACORN should not be connected to Politicians.

With all that said you show me a truly honest Politician and I will show you one that will never be elected to anything of importance, and will always be shouted down like Ron Paul is.

Rev WSB 780 is run by Cox Communications but it runs Hannity,Boortz, and Herman Cain, it also own KiSS 104 which is black R&B station which heavily favors Obama and tell voters to vote him.

Also owns Atlanta Journal Constitution which is a Liberal paper, I would say Mr. Cox follows the money because he owns Conservative Radio stations Liberal stations and Conservative newspapers and Liberal newspapers, would you say he is fair, follows the money or is pandering?

You are right Solared on this. The other stations though are for the most part all Dumbocrat run. So when you look at the whole of the media in America, it is dominated mostly by Dumbocrats.

it wasn't all gov't.. part of it was consumer ignorance and banking greed.. but that doesn't quite gel with your 'dumbocrat' motif

Yes you are right however who are those players in the banks? Who are the players in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? My guess since Dumbocrats are corrupt that they had players in those Democrat created programs to ruin them so they had Bush to blame.

Actually... the players in the banks are mainly republicans. Umm.. and what program enhanced consumer ignorance and banking greed? The CRA prevented redlining, and the Fair Housing Act didn't tell the banks to give loans to otherwise unqualified individuals, it just attempted to keep banks from discriminating using outside factors. It was actually the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act (republican, mind you) that allowed banks to tread into investment services waters and take the monumental losses that contributed to their demise.

Read a book..mk?thx

The word "Discrimination" comes from the politics of the Dumbocrats. Through this word they are able to control people in everything they do. Hence, let anything happen, all lenders had no choice otherwise to be hammered for discrimination. Otherwise, I see nothing in the act that makes for or sets up anything that is currently happening. Interpretation..learn how its done.

I can't believe they censored the skit was it because of the corrupt Sandler couple, or was it because of the Soros thing or maybe it was because it was betraying the Liberals in a bad light, but keep in mind the Sandlers are liberals and donate to ACORN even...
