What is Zoorag?

Do I need to sign up to participate?
You do not need to sign up to vote on articles. However, you will not be able to comment, give star power, or start collecting points without a profile.
How do I make a profile?
Click on the 'click here to join' link on the top right and Zoorag will lead you through the rest.
How do I customize my profile?
Log into your account and click on the 'my profile' link at the top of your page. You can profile information and photo there.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password by clicking on your 'my profile' link and then clicking on the 'change your password' link at the bottom of the page.
What is my Zoofeed?
Your Zoofeed allows you to keep track of any and all activity associated to your account such as new messages, groupies, comments, votes, comment replies and star power ratings.
What are Zoo Alerts?
Your Zoo Alerts are located underneath your Zoofeed and will keep you updated on all activity on the site as it happens. Alerts can easily be customized to your preference by clicking on the 'alert options' link underneath the alert box.
How do I post an article?
Posting articles on Zoorag is easy. Click on the 'start a new rag' link on the top right side of your page. Fill in the Link to the story you want to post, and Zoorag will walk you through the rest.
How do I delete my article?
Click into your article and select the 'delete' link underneath the title.
Why was my article or comment deleted?
-It was not reporting of pop-culture and/or celebrity related topics
-It was a duplicate/recent posting
-It was inappropriate or irrelevant in its language, subject, or content
-It was spam
How do I report an inappropriate article or comment?
If you see inappropriate articles or comments, click on the 'flag as abuse' link.

What is a rising star?
Is it their witty comments? Is it the news they bring? Whatever it is, Rising Stars attract and maintain their Star Power from day to day.
What is star power?
As you browse articles and comments you will see a little yellow star that says 'give star power.' If you think the article or comment deserves recognition, then give it some star power love. The more star power ratings a ragger accumulates, the more points and credibility they get.
How do the levels work?
As you post more articles and interact on Zoorag you will accumulate points based on your credibility and consistency in posting quality, up to date news, comments and star power ratings.

How do I know what level I am on?
You can keep track of your personal statistics and level as well as any raggers by clicking into their profile.
What is a groupie?
The coolest raggers will attract groupies who want to receive an email alert every time they post a new rag. The better your rags, the more groupies you will attract. You can also become a groupie of any ragger by clicking into their profile and selecting the 'become a groupie' link.
How do I remove a groupie?
You can remove a groupie by clicking into their profile and selecting the 'remove me as a groupie' link.
How do I send a private message?
You can send members private messages on Zoorag by clicking on the intended recipients profile and selecting the 'send me a private message' link.
How do I import my contacts?
Click on the 'my contacts' link at top right and follow the prompts. Zoorag will automagically import your address book from hotmail, yahoo and gmail or you can enter them manually.
How do I invite my friends?
Click on the 'invite your friends' link on the right side of your page and follow the prompts. You will receive extra points and increase your level when you invite your friends to the Zoo.
